The Official Classic WoW to be launched on 27th August 2019

It’s almost mid-summer and everyone is eagerly waiting for the official, retail, Blizzard’s Classic World of Warcraft to be launched. The private server population looks “dried up”. There is barely 3k online on Light’s Hope’s 3 realms: Lightbringer, Northdale and the recently released Silver Hand. On the other hand, Elysium seems to thrive somehow and the population there is not dropping.

German and French Realms for the Retail Vanilla WoW

Blizzard recently announced that, at least on the launch and the initial first months, there will be Australian (Oceanic) realms as well as German and French language servers in Europe. We are still not sure how will they be split among the planned Classic realm types: PvP, PvE, RP and RP-PvP, or how will they fit into the already planned European – EU and North American (NA WoW Gold).

What Is The Estimated Classic WoW Population?

We are really curious to see how many players will Classic World of Warcraft have. Ofcourse, there will be a “zerg” on the launch with millions of players, but given how “easy” is WoW nowadays, we don’t expect many of theese players to follow through the tough content of the Classic version. We estimate that at least 1 million players will continue playing one month after the launch.

Northdale, Nethergarde and the Future of Classic WoW

It’s been quite a while since we made our last post. Things are always changing, so when Lightbringer came to decline with the release of the Kronos 3 realm by Twinstar, Light’s Hope announced Northdale, which serves as the prime Vanilla WoW Private server for almost a year now.

Gold4Vanilla.comOn the other hand, Elysium’s Nighthaven reached it’s peak, so before their release of a Burning Crusade Server, they launched Nethergarde, which is to serve as a pre-sequel to their upcoming TBC server in Q2 of 2019.

So the 4 major Vanilla Classic WoW private servers as of now are: Northdale (Light’s Hope), Nethergarde (Elysium Project), Kronos 3 (Twinstar) and Vanilla Gaming.

How the situation will develop – we do not know for certain as Classic WoW is coming in about 4 or 5 months from now – as recently announced by Blizzard. Due to the upcoming Classic launch, Northdale said that there is a high possibility of them closing down the servers – but all will not end here, as they will provide tokens with account/character data to players who wish to migrate to a private server which will accept them once Blizzard releases their version of Vanilla.

2019 is a year of Burning Crusade Private WoW Servers

It seems the main reason the Elysium Project postponed their release of Elysium TBC is due to the two recently released TBC realms: Nightbane by Sunwell, and Netherwing by Atlantiss. Once the population on this realms declines, we can be sure that we will have a fresh new Burning Crusade realm to play on. In addition to that, the Elysium TBC realm will accept player migration from their Classic realms: Nighthaven and Nethergarde.

Accounts for Northdale and Netherwing (TBC) are still hot!

From our experience and connections, the player-base is still going crazy for accounts on the above-mentioned realms. For people looking to buy Northdale account, they can do so from Gold4Vanilla.com. We also identified another website that is great for Netherwing accounts – it is called Gold4Atlantiss.com – we already tested their websites by purchasing lower-level accounts and the experience was great and smooth with both of them.

Retail Vanilla Classic Annoucement and Light’s Hope

Blizzard recently announced their upcoming re-release of the Classic World of Warcraft version. This was surprising news to hear but long time awaited as well. However, it remains unknown when this will happen because they have to re-implement the oldest game version into their current battlenet system. Some players are also vouching for Talent tree changes – something like Paladin taunt in the protection tree, mainly because most of the talents tree were completely useless then. There was no DPS raid spec for Druids, Shamans, Priests, Paladins. Warriors were supposed to be the tanks. Rogues, Hunters, Mages and Warlocks were supposed to be the DPS and the rest of the classes mentioned Healers. We remain open to all posibilities though, and we are eagerly waiting for more news from Blizzard.

On the other side, the “not-so-final” disaster happened on the Elysium Vanilla WoW project just a month ago, on 16th October 2017. The main project owners, Crogge and Shenna were accused of account and gold selling drama, so one of the admins called Whitekidney “stole” the database and re-released the project under a new name called Light’s Hope.

light's hope lightbringer logoSome consider it to be a true renegade project, as it remains unknown if the generated gold and accounts were really deleted as the new project owners claim. To combat this, the Elysium project released a new, fresh realm called Nighthaven. Surprisingly, it gained a lot of traction and the populations peaks up to 4000 players during the weekend days which might increased even further.

Light’s Hope, in order to distinguish the Elysium realm from the previous “father” project, renamed the realm into Lightbringer.

We are more than eager to see how both projects develop further. There has been announcement that TBC version is in development by the Elysium Project, and more players have been popping into the Kronos realms, we guess the reason being the retail Classic WoW annoucement.

Warmane Crushing With It’s TBC Servers: Outland and Medivh

Warmane recently surpassed everyone’s expectations. If you haven’t heard of it yet, you have probably been living under the rock… Warmane released it’s first TBC server on 20th May, called Outland, with x5 leveling rates. The cap of the population was quickly increased to 13000, with over a 2000 standard queue list. With these stats, Outland overshadowed even the most popular Warmane WotLK realm: Icecrown.

Just one week after Outland’s release, the developers announced Medivh, a x1 100% Blizzlike private TBC server. Medivh pop is similar to the Icecrown/Lordaeron WotLK ratio and we can now safely say that Warmane has the best scripted Burning Crusade “TBC” and Wrath of the Lich King “WotLK” servers.

The current layout of the populations are:

  1. Outland x5: 13000 pop with 2000 queue
  2. Medivh x1: Between 4000-5000 active pop
  3. Lordaeron x1: Between 3000-4500 active pop
  4. Icecrown x1: 12000 pop with 2000 queue

If only Warmane could have released a proper Vanilla realm, we believe they will hold most of the legacy WoW playerbase for several years without an issue.

Gold for Outland & Medivh TBC

Ahh… those fresh Legacy TBC World of Warcraft servers and gold… the massive influx of players on both Medivh and Outland has created a massive gold demand as well. Players are hungry and many fake artists have appeared on forums and elsewhere claiming to have thousands of cheap Warmane tbc gold available for both realms, which is partly untrue.

You should always be cautions when looking to buy Outland Warmane gold. The V7 network has expanded it’s existing sites to support the new realms, and you can use the following web pages to obtain gold for them:

Besides the existing sites, the network created brand new ones for each realm: Gold4Outland and MedivhGold. You can use the sites for obtaining the much needed powerleveling 1-70 for the x5 and x1 realms.  Ready Made level 70 Accounts. Classes available are: Rogue, Paladin, Warrior, Priest, Warlock, Druid, Mage, Hunter, Shaman & all races are included: Humans, Orcs, Night Elves, Undead, Tauren, Dwarf, Gnome, Trolls, Draenei and Blood Elves.

See You in-game!

The Elysium Project & Nostalrius: Gold, Powerleveling

We haven’t updated our site in a while and the news you missed are: Nostalrius came back under the Elysium project. However, their developer teams had a failing and the teams split, but the realms remained. Now, Elysium is the new thriving place for Vanilla WoW players. There are 4 realms – 2 old, the former Nostalrius PvP & PvE gold, and the brand new ones – Zeth’Kur and Elysium PvP.

Just like back in the days, the realms are full of nostalgic Vanilla players, there are literary thousands of players swamping through all 4 realms. All of them are blizzlike, with 1x rates and progressive PvE release. The plan for the raid and patch releases can be seen at https://elysium-project.org/.

About the realms, the most popular Nostalrius PvP was renamed to Anathema PvP, Nostalrius PvE is now known as Darrowshire PvE.

Gold will always be an issue for these realms, but we have identified several sites from where you can purchase it. The newest one is Elysium Gold  which servers all realms from a single page, while the others are Nostalrius.net and Gold4Elysium.com

Anathema (Nostalrius PvP)

Below you will find a gameplay video of the realm. The majority of this realm’s population is from the old Nost PvP and some new players who didn’t want to wait for the progressive content release the new realm offers. Anathema gold can be purchased from here: http://gold4elysium.com/pvp-anathema

Darrowshire (Nostalrius PvE)

As with it’s former PvP counterpart, the bulk of this realm players is from the old Nost PvE. It is the only PvE realm on the whole Elysium WoW. Darrowshire gold can be bought from this page: http://gold4elysium.com/pve-darrowshire

Elysium PvP

Elysium was initially released in August 2016 as part of Valkyrie WoW. The Nostalrius developers noticed the realm and came into an agreement to provide their core and former player database in order to reinstate the former Nostalrius realms. Elysium was closed, and released as a brand new realm on 7th January 2017. You can buy Elysium gold from here: http://gold4elysium.com/pvp-elysium

Zeth’Kur PvP

Zeth’Kur was not even planned for release at all. It came into being one week after the re-release of Elysium PvP due to it’s long queues. It will have the same content release plans as it’s counterpart. It has a bit less players than Elysium, so if you don’t like crowds, this realm is just for you. Buy Zeth’Kur gold from this page: http://gold4elysium.com/pvp-zethkur

Powerleveling & Accounts for Elysium WoW

Leveling will always be a pain in the butt for the inexperienced Vanilla WoW players. It is a tedious process requiring a lot of time and commitment. For the ones with the busy schedule, powerleveling and accounts can be purchased from here: http://gold4elysium.com/accounts-powerleveling.

All of these websites function as part of Vision 7 Gaming.

Top Performing Cataclysm 4.3.4 WoW Server – Atlantiss.eu

Not long ago, we discovered Atlantiss.eu – a top performing Play-Through-Expansions (PTR) Cataclysm 4.3.4 private server which was released back in 2011 as The Burning Crusade. Even though the realm might be past it’s zenith, it still has a thriving community with well over 1500 people online during peak times.

It’s experience and money rates are x1, and that always creates an issue with the currency demand on every server.

Atlantiss Gameplay Review

Kronos 2 Launched

Nostalrius was taken down by Blizzard in early April 2016. This left around 13000 vanilla wow fans basically homeless.

Kronos somehow foresaw the closure of Nostalrius Begins, and launched 7x experience rates which lasted for 30 days which enabled new players to level up and catch up with the old player base faster.

However, the original Twinstar vanilla realm couldn’t hold the massive amount of players migrating to it, so a new one, named Kronos 2 was launched shortly thereafter.

This time it wasn’t a surprise. Kronos 2 became thriving and full just like the original one and it’s predecessor – Nostalrius.

Kronos 2 Gameplay

The gameplay on the second realm is much like on the first one, except the imbalance created from the 7x XP rates. Take a look on the following video:

Kronos 2 Gold issues

As with every fresh Vanilla WoW server, gold is always an issue. This wasn’t the case with Kronos 1 because players already had nice stocks before Nosta was taken down, but the gold for Kronos 2 represented the same problem as when both Nostalrius Begins PvP, PvE, Kronos 1 and even Warsong was launched.

Two sites were tested for it’s services which were reliable and they don’t spam ingame with whispers:

Take a look on those finely crafted sites and enjoy your easy gameplay!

The Topnotch Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK WoW) Private Servers

World of Warcraft posed a very hard game in the beginning. Things were made easier with the Burning Crusade, but the game went on “Easy Mode” when the Wrath of the Lich King expansion was released in late 2008.

Why is that so, we can not say, perhaps the main reason being – holding a larger subscription base – you could level to 80 more easily, equip your toon with epics in a matter of weeks, whereby months were needed in the previous expansions and especially the classic.

Easy mode or not, Wrath of the Lich king indeed rose the game’s popularity again. As with the Burning Crusade and the Vanilla, many private servers were opened – their usual targets being people who couldn’t afford a subscription.

With the release of the new expansions – Cataclysm, Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor however, many people felt the urge to experience WotLK again – and because there are no legacy realms on retail WoW, they moved to the private ones.

There are literary hundreds of private WotLK servers, but each of them varies. The main differences are the XP rates, the quality of the game scripts and the pay-to-win options.

If you are looking to play Wrath of the Lich King, we can assist you by telling you where to start:

  • Warmane - former Molten WoW, hosts 4 incredible realms, the most popular being Lordaeron (x1 blizzlike rates), Ragnaros and Deathwing.
  • Dalaran WoW – with the best blizzlike scripts, hosts 2 realms, the most popular being Algalon PvP.

If you are just starting out there, you will need some gold to get you going – just like the most of us. If you don’t want to bother with farming the gold yourself, we have prepared a list of websites where you can buy the gold from.

Most of these gold selling sites are run by V7 and their partners 44gaming, meaning that you will always get your gold within a day or you will get your money back.

If you enjoy experiencing the full WotLK experience with Blizzlike rates, you will need to head to Warmane’s Lordaeron realm. If you get stuck or have no extra time to level in the process, check this powerleveling page.

Enjoy your Wrath of the Lich King experience again!
